Amos Bursary Scheme

Baroness Amos

The Bursary was established in June 2009 by Baroness Amos of Brondesbury (former UK Cabinet Minister, and currently Director of SOAS, University of London) in partnership with Excell3. The Bursary seeks to provide fair access to professional careers for outstanding boys from London. We do this through the support of a network of over 40 professionals who provide their skill and expertise as volunteers. The Bursary supports these capable and ambitious students into and through university, making sure they have a great spring-board to embark on their career, and to achieve their full potential. Through a partnership with a private university in the city of London, we are able to provide an opportunity for a full-fee scholarship to study a 3 year Bachelor Degree in law.
